Junkers W34 1926

Germany
The German-built Junkers W34 in the early 1930s carried on the tradition of other previous Junkers aircraft by being another tough, all-metal airplane. The outside of the aircraft is noteworthy for its use of heavily creased, corrugated metal plates, giving its fuselage a unique appearance. But while it might not have been called a pretty aircraft, it was definitely hardy. And its toughness had its advantages.
